- I officially start 3rd year tomorrow, with the sure-to-thrill "Patient Safety Week". Normally, this would sound like a drag, but in the face of two months of Surgery rotation, it sounds fantastic!
- This morning's church service about standing up to bullies seems particularly appropriate. I know I have some rough days of getting ripped apart ahead. I've been debating the merits of trying to develop a tough skin (lots less crying in the car on the way home from work) vs just staying the way I am (sensitive but nice). The message today was that "Bullies are the pulley that bring you to the next level." So toughen up, use the ripping as fuel for my fire, and see where I can go- seems to be the message that the universe is sending my way.
- Considering making a Beyonce-and-similar filled CD for my car, for getting pumped at 4:30 in the morning as I drive to the hospital. Just call me Emma Fierce. :P

- Lots of airport today- dropped Mom off this morning, picking Michelle up this afternoon.
